At first we thought it looked a little like Hagreds house from Harry Potter - in some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen, even though it was covered in 2foot of snow - we didnt leave the cottage, didnt need to, everything we wanted and needed was there, by the open fire side.

Dalmunzie cottages are an outstanding base for visiting Scotland. The walking was wonderful and the scenery awesome. Would recommend these cottages to anyone.

The location was idyllic, ideal for the adventurous type like me and also plenty of places to visit within 30 mile radius should weather prevent any activity. Lots of choice of places to eat within pocket of the self catering types who want a change from cooking.
